Summary: This direct mail invite was developed to promote registration for Oregon Entrepreneur Network’s Tom Holce Awards event. I worked with an art director to develop the concept, and then wrote the copy to the idea.
Strategy: Traditionally, OEN’s Tom Holce Awards event featured a formal, sit-down dinner. The structure of this year’s event changed to accommodate more networking opportunities with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The goal of this invite was to communicate a more casual feel.
Fun fact: We debated adding the “dead fish handshake” to the greeting guide, but decided to take a more positive approach.
